By downloading or using SnapChef you agree to these Terms of Use (the "Agreement") between you and Hibernyte. Please read them, along with our Privacy Policy.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SnapChef for your own non-commercial use, subject to this Agreement and the app store's terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app.
You need an account (via Apple or Google sign-in) to use SnapChef. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
SnapChef offers an optional SnapChef Premium auto-renewable subscription:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.
SnapChef uses AI to detect ingredients and generate recipes. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Ingredient detection, recipes, cooking times, and any nutrition or allergen information are provided for convenience only and are not professional dietary, medical, or food-safety advice. You are responsible for verifying ingredients, allergens, freshness, and safe cooking practices. Do not rely on SnapChef if you have allergies or medical dietary needs without independent verification.
You agree not to use SnapChef for unlawful purposes, to upload harmful or infringing content, to attempt to disrupt the service, or to access it through automated means except as permitted.
You retain ownership of the content you create (e.g. saved recipes, lists). You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the app. You can delete your content and account at any time in the app.
SnapChef is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI results will meet your expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hibernyte will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on AI-generated content.
You may stop using SnapChef and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate this Agreement.
We may update these Terms; changes are posted here with a new date and, for material changes, surfaced in the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
